Celebration Sunday

This past Sunday over 70 people joined us to kickoff the program year with Celebration Sunday! With the boisterous choir debut, a joyful liturgy, the return of Godly Play, and a fantastic feast, it was a day overflowing with joy. And the bouncy house was a huge success – as always!

We couldn’t have done it without our extraordinary volunteers. From our social gathering planning group I want to especially thank Renee Milkie, Linda Mullen, Sandy Maloof, Polly Ogden, Malaika O’Rourke, and Barb Shephard. Countless others of you lent a hand with set up, clean up, and just being an extra set of hands through the day. You have my deep gratitude. This was truly an event by Emmanuel, for Emmanuel.

I think this is the start of a full and wonderful year at Emmanuel!
