Mission Trip
Pre-covid, we went on a local mission trip to St. Luke's in Ballard to help with their Edible Hope Kitchen, a volunteer-based program that serves hot breakfast to those struggling with food insecurity. For many of our youth, it was their first real exposure to the complexities of housing and food insecurity. It awakened in them a passion to learn more, to serve more, and to be in a continuing relationship with the people at Edible Hope Kitchen and the overall St. Luke's Community.
